For years, we’ve operated as Naked Cubby Co. The term “naked” came from encouraging guests to be ‘naked’ - leave behind the wifi and technology and spend time reconnecting with loved ones, nature and the stars.

Our getaways to be ‘bare’ - bring along the bare necessities and getaway without barely leaving Canberra.

But, we’ve recently changed our name to Cubby and Co, and slowly transitioning to this new concept.

We’ve grown and changed over the last few years, and we felt it was the right time to evolve our name to match our offering. The name change reflects our organic shift towards offering curated and all-inclusive experiences, incorporating passionate locals, small businesses and regional goods.’

While local has always been a part of our business, we’ve realised this is what’s closest to our heart and our focus moving forward. Our cubbies are always located on vineyards and amongst nature, so the bare and stripped back nature of our stays speak for themselves.

Offering camping (without the hassle) and a tiny house, our cubbies are a place to hideaway, to disconnect from reality and reconnect with the important things...like wine.

Located on opposite sides of the vineyard, the tents and tiny house are private, but also offer the opportunity for groups of couples to stay overnight.

Cubby and Co provides a unique and memorable experience through thoughtful design and curation. We've collaborated with a collection of designers and producers to support local talent. We've carefully placed every element to add to the relaxation and simplicity of slipping away to a vineyard for the night.

The close proximity of the vineyard to the city creates a backyard getaway experience, where you can immerse yourself in the Canberra wine region without forfeiting all of the creature comforts of home.

Mount Majura Vineyard is a working vineyard and our businesses work collaboratively to respect the terroir and day-to-day operations. Each cubby is a 600m adventure from the cellar door, so we highly recommend packing lightly. Be naked, less is more.

All Mount Majura Vineyard’s wine is made exclusively from the vineyard so be sure to visit the cellar door for a tasting. With an extensive range of impeccable wines, it's an experience for everyone from the wine novice to the serious connoisseur.
